The YouTube App allows you to seamlessly integrate public YouTube content into your playlists. You can use it to play product commercials, educational Shorts, or even 24/7 live news broadcasts.

Because YouTube content is streamed directly from Google’s servers and cannot be permanently downloaded, this app requires a continuous internet connection. If your screen goes offline, this specific scene will display a connection error, but the rest of your cached media will continue to loop normally.

Configuration Options

Adding YouTube to your playlist is incredibly simple.

1. Enter the YouTube URL Paste the public URL of the YouTube content you want to display into the input field. The app natively supports standard YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube Live Streams.

2. Automatic Duration Detection You do not need to manually guess the length of the video. Once you paste a valid URL, Yugna will automatically communicate with YouTube to detect the exact duration of the video and set the scene length in your playlist accordingly.
