The Google Reviews App connects directly to the Google Places API to display real-time feedback from your customers. Showing positive reviews on your screens is a proven way to build trust and encourage new customers to leave their own feedback.

Because this app dynamically fetches live reviews from Google, it requires a continuous internet connection. If your screen goes offline, this specific scene will display a connection error, but the rest of your cached media will continue to loop normally.

Configuration Options

Setting up Google Reviews is as simple as searching for your business.

1. Search Place Type the name of your business into the search bar. Yugna connects directly to Google Maps to find your exact location. Click on your business from the dropdown results to link it to the app.

2. Display Mode Choose exactly what content from your Google profile you want to highlight on screen:

   • Reviews + Photos: Displays a combination of customer text reviews and photos uploaded to your Google Business profile.
   • Reviews Only: Focuses entirely on the text-based reviews and star ratings left by your customers.
   • Photos Only: Creates a visual slideshow using only the photos associated with your Google listing.
