Image Slides App

The Image Slides App takes standard static images and turns them into an engaging slideshow. It allows you to select multiple images and display them in sequence or in a multi-image grid layout.

Works Offline

Requires Active Internet: No

Images are cached locally. Once downloaded, the slideshow will continue to play flawlessly even if the screen loses internet connectivity.

Configuration Options

When you open the Image Slides configuration dialog, you will see it is split into two tabs: Files and Style.

The Files Tab

The Files tab is where you select the images you want to include in your slideshow.

1. Add Slides Click the + Slide button to open your Media Library and select multiple images at once.
2. Manage Selection All selected images will appear in a grid. You can quickly remove an image from the slideshow by hovering over it and clicking the red “X” icon.

The Style Tab

The Style tab provides powerful customization options to dictate exactly how your slideshow looks and feels.

1. Layout Choose how many images appear on the screen at the exact same time. You can select Single Image, Two Up, Three Up, or Four Up. (For example, if you have 10 images and select “Two Up”, the slideshow will pair them up and show 5 total slides).
2. Background Colour If your images don’t perfectly fill the screen, this color will fill the empty space behind them.
3. Fit Choose Fit and Center to ensure the entire image is visible, or Scale to Fill to expand the image to cover its designated layout area (which may crop edges).
4. Duration per Slide Set exactly how many seconds (between 2 and 60) each slide should remain on the screen before transitioning to the next.
5. Transition Speed Choose how smoothly the slides blend into one another. You can select Instant, Slow, Medium, or Fast crossfades.
6. Randomize Order If toggled on, the app will shuffle the order of your selected images every time the scene plays, keeping your content feeling fresh.
