Custom RSS Feed App
While Yugna provides built-in apps for major news outlets, the Custom RSS Feed App allows you to pull live data from any website that publishes a standard XML/RSS feed. This is perfect for displaying your company’s internal blog, local university news, or niche industry publications.
Configuration Options
Section titled “Configuration Options”The Custom RSS Feed app gives you complete control over both the data source and the visual styling of the feed.

RSS Feed URL Paste the public URL of the XML/RSS feed you want to display (e.g.,
https://example.com/feed.xml). -
Show Images Toggle If the RSS feed provides featured images for its articles, you can toggle this on to display them alongside the headlines. If the feed is text-only, or you prefer a cleaner look, toggle this off.

Colors & Branding Use the color pickers to define a custom Background Color and Text Color that perfectly matches your organization’s brand identity.

Typography You can independently select the Title Font and Body Font for the news articles. Available fonts include modern choices like Inter, Roboto, and Open Sans, as well as classic serifs like Georgia and Merriweather.

Date Format Choose how the publication date of the article is displayed (Short, Medium, or Long format).

Headline Duration Set exactly how many seconds (between 5 and 60) each individual headline should remain on the screen before transitioning to the next article in the feed.

Transition Speed Choose how smoothly the app blends from one headline to the next. You can select Instant, Slow, Medium, or Fast crossfades.
